Praying Mothers

Yesterday I went to a mothers prayer conference. It was so uplifting to see so many mums coming together to pray for their children. It got me thinking how much I need God in order to raise our girls.

The thing that stood out to me the most, was the need for us to declare and decree into our children’s lives.

You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows. You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.

(Job 22:27-28 nkjv).

We should speak positivity into the lives of our children, speak hope, love, prosperity, positive friendships and relationships, good grades at school, whatever situation you want changed, speak it into their lives and claim it in Jesus’s name. Declare it, believe it and it will be so.

And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. ( Matthew 21:22 NKJV)

Also we shouldn’t just pray about the here and now but also their future. One book I am reading it The Power Of A Praying Parent.  It is such a powerful book, teaching us how to pray about our children’s future. If you don’t have it, I highly recommend it!

There is power in prayer! I can testify to that.

Let’s not leave anything to chance in our children’s life. We, as mothers and fathers, must be prayer warriors, it is a spiritual warfare and we need to fight for our children’s salvation (deliverance from sin).

I believe we shouldn’t just pray alone, but also pray together. If you have a prayer request, please let me know so I can pray for and with you. If it is too personal you can email me your request. (in the subject please write prayer request)

Let’s pray for and with our children daily. Amen.
